And an Ad Venture around every corner.
Ian Proctor is to the Africa travel industry what Martha Stewart is to home decorating, in our humble opinion. When we met Ian, he overflowed with so much passion for Africa, developed over a 20-year span of traveling to Africa over 200 times, we decided his persona needed a very focal place in his new website’s positioning.
So one by one, each page creation became a careful balance of small company hands-on care and large company experience and capability. Images of journals with handwritten “thoughts” by Ian are sprinkled through the site to add just the right amount of vintage charm. Bold, large headlines confidently announce and spark emotions for folks looking for their perfect African adventure.
“You’ve achieved what the goal is, to make our company look really special, unique & inviting.”
Having traveled to Africa over 200 times in 20 years, Ian is full of words to describe his experiences and why people should book with his company. His previous three websites reflect this: lots and lots and lots of very good words. But a lot. Too much for the average busy website reader to fully read and digest.
We designed the new website to focus on large photos, showing fewer words to entice web visitors to engage themselves more with the website.
The words are still there, but carefully selected and hidden by simple anchor tags in the form of a + (expand) symbol. This makes for an excellent user experience.
Ultimate Africa Safaris offers customized trips – not canned trips, but truly customized “hidden gem” trips that are catered to the likes and desires of clients. The website design is highly customized so it stands out and looks - not even close - to any other safari company out there.
“Having seen your work, I am hugely impressed and appreciative of the value you have presented and again the work is simply awesome… I could not have imagined. Thank you!”
